I received my Ph.D. from the George Washington University (GWU) in 2016, M.S. from University of Notre Dame (ND) in 2012, and B.S. from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2009. My research is primarily in the area of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). More specifically, I develop high-order numerical methods and massively parallel flow solvers (e.g., I developed SHARP CFD) that work on both stationary and moving unstructured meshes. I also apply these technologies to study fundamental and engineering laminar and turbulent flow problems. I was born and grew up in Baoji (founded 2000BC) and went to high school in Xi'an (founded 1700BC). The photo on this page was taken in 2016 when I was residing in Washington DC.
